Getting started on academic writing in English (Kamila Etchegoyen-Rosolova)

This seminar focuses on the "thinking" behind effective writing in academic English. We will talk about the writing process and characteristics of English texts such as writing for the reader, sequencing of ideas in a text, and observing expected patterns in a text. The seminar combines a lecture approach with hands-on activities that will allow students to understand and practice the key concepts.
